Great for a hungry crowd; makes 1 Boston butt

Ingredients:

• 1 Boston butt

• 2/3 cup apple cider vinegar

• ½ stick melted butter

• 1 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce

• 2 tsp kosher salt

• 1 tsp sugar

• ½ cup molasses

Directions:

In large pot combine A.c.v., melted butter, soy sauce, salt, sugar and stir until sugar and salt dissolves; put pork down in mixture along with 5 ice cubes and refrigerate 4 hours to overnight

Set grill to 200 degrees and cook 4 hours basting pork butt every hour with brine

Mix together a.c.v., butter, soy sauce, sugar, molasses; and mop butt every hour for another 3-10 hours of cooking or until a temp of at least 195 is reached and meat pulls off bones

-use mesquite or apple chips for extra flavor
